Is this really an Agastache 'Pstessene' CORONADO® Red? We won't find out today. |
I'm in the middle of an "energy crisis" this week and have been lying quietly on the sofa rather than (noisily?) reading, enjoying, and commenting on your blogs or adding my two cents to your Facebook witticisms. I hope to be back in form visiting with you all again soon.
If everything goes well, by Sunday I should also be ready to offer you the nail-biting, suspenseful, cliff-hanging tale of an unexpected—well, not to spoil the end of the story or anything, but it turned out to be a primrose. Things don't get much more exciting than that. Or maybe we'll share a chuckle over that one goldfinch who talks to herself while she eats. Then again, if we're up for the drama, we might witness a few days in the life of a Ratibida columnifera. Thrills and adventures await!
But not until I'm functional again.
Blimey Stacy, you are a tease. I can't possibly wait till Sunday. Goodness.
ReplyDeleteI shall just sit here and wait. Drumming my fingers.
Dave
P.S. Lying on the sofa is good. No hurry really though I do want to hear about the goldfinch.
Semi reclining with my laptop, and I don't have your good reason. See you later ...
ReplyDeleteHope you get to feeling better soon. Look forward to your dramas, chuckles, and characters!
ReplyDeleteHope you are up and doing soon! I do look forward to discovering the secret...
ReplyDeleteStacy, I hope you're feeling better soon. Thanks for the teaser to keep us going until then. -Jean
ReplyDeleteBummer. My excitement this week was watching an ant torturing a dragon fly. Not sure if it was taking nips at him or just checking him out. The dragon fly must have been tired out himself cuz he didn't move other than to shake off the ant.
ReplyDeleteBTW, that same day I fell asleep on the deck. I took the pillows off the chairs and laid them out so I could lie down and look at my flowers since I couldn't sit (it has been a bad week for me also). Next thing I know I'm fast asleep and hubby snuck out and took a photo of me. I still haven't seen it and I'm not sure I want to. I wouldn't be surprised if I was drooling.
Hope and pray you feel better soon!
ReplyDeleteGet some good rest and let your body heal.
Blessings,
Elaine
Even when you're not feeling well, your writing is bright. Whatever the agastache is, it's beautiful ...
ReplyDeleteThank you all for your kind comments and good wishes--they're much appreciated.
ReplyDeleteDave, sorry to keep you on tenterhooks (heh, heh...). The goldfinch is on its way.
Baffled, sometimes you wish you could be inside those critters' heads just for a few seconds to find out what's going on. Hope you're feeling better and that the photo doesn't turn out to be blackmail material...
